The best thing about this outfit is how versatile each item is. They’re great basic pieces that can be mixed and matched with other things in your closest.
My twisted sweater also here is under $20 and can we worn like the pictures above or with the twist in the front. It was shorter than I liked with the twist in the front so I just turned it around – there’s no tag in this particular sweater so it’s easy to wear it both ways. I like a basic sweater with a fun little detail.
Don’t you love the color of these Free People Busted Knee Jeans?? All of my blue jeans are a darker wash and I finally got a light wash pair! They are also high waisted which I like, but they do run very small. I’m 5’5 wearing a size 28. If you like the style but not the color, Free People makes this style in about every color. It does seem like almost everyone is sold out of this color now, but here are a pair of Levi’s that looks similar.
Both the jeans and sweater I bought last fall, and this year I was on the hunt for a basic pair of tan booties. I wear so much black in the winter that I definitely have more black shoes, and I wanted a good neutral pair that would work with black clothes and non-black clothes (ex. blue jeans!). I definitely love the color and style of these. I have worn them probably three times now and so far so good with the comfort. If you’re an Amazon shopper I also found them there in a few different colors… like snakeskin!
My go-to basic piece of jewelry is my gold coin necklace from my jewelry line Eleven Collection. It’s a great necklace for $25!
