Lately I’ve really been into dresses. I think it’s because of how easy they are to throw on – versus putting together a top and bottom. Dresses are also great for summertime in the South because they are cooler! I like having the option of making a dress more casual or dressier just by changing the shoes and accessories out.
The dress: I found this striped t-shirt dress at Nordstrom Rack for $20. Score! It also comes in multiple colors. (I’m 5’5 wearing a small and I really liked the fit and length)
The options: In the pictures above I chose to pair it with a cardigan around my waist and flip flops, but you could also wear it with a blue jean jacket or casual wedges!
The shoes: So I’ve mentioned these studded sandals before and I’m mentioning them again. I love them!! They look so much like the Valentino sandals but these are only $20. They’re rubber without looking like rubber so they are GREAT for the pool or beach.
The hat: So I grabbed this Vince Camuto floppy hat + another cute hat from Nordstrom Rack for the beach. I’m headed to Seaside next week so I’ll be posting more about the hats then!
