Kitchen Table Refresh - Mary Anna Jefcoat
So I have had my eye on these chairs FOREVER. Ever since I moved into my house I have dreamed of the ever so popular “weathered oak” dining table and chairs. Well the Restoration Hardware tables and the look-a-like tables are so expensive so I opted for splurging on the chairs and finding a table to re-do myself. As you can see from the pics, the table isn’t weathered oak – the table I am diy’ing is still in my garage under construction. BUT, just changing out the chairs with my current table total changed the look of the room!! The color of the chairs is so awesome that I think they would work with a lot of different dining tables. The exact style I bought are the “Natural Linen Paige Round Back” from World Market. They also come in a square back style, which is fun. These are a little bit cheaper than the Restoration Hardware chairs and look almost just alike! If you become a Rewards Member at World Market then you get a $10 coupon every $200 that you spend. If you’re going to make a big purchase then definitely sign up! Also, if you’re going to purchase online then you HAVE to read my Ebates post first because you can earn cash back on your purchase and small percentages add up when you’re talking about a $400-$1000 purchase. I’ve only had them for about 3 months but so far the quality is good. I did Scotchgard the fabric since they are 1. Expensive 2. It’s a light colored fabric 3. Eventually spills will happen. If you aren’t familiar with Scotchgard, basically it repels liquid and protects fabrics (also GREAT on suede shoes). It doesn’t change the feel of the fabric either. Pretty cool! Other eating area items:Lantern pendant – I got the rubbed bronze. I love it and even installed it myself!Woven rug – I waited to catch this on sale (just keep an eye on their site). Mine is the 5ft square so you can see how it fits under a table of 4 chairs. I need to clean the fabric part going around the edges because we track through a lot but I’ve had it for over a year and it’s holding up well. My Roomba has no problem vacuuming it!Placemats – Pioneer Woman from Wal-Mart!Floral prints – Hobby LobbyGold/bronze candlestick holder – Target. I don’t see them on their website anymore. Similar here Black and white striped candlesticks – Hobby LobbyNarrow Sideboard – At Home. It was under $300
