We’ve all seen those cheesy commercials about people getting cash back from their online purchases and you just roll your eyes. It sounds like there has to be some kind of catch right!? Well I finally checked out Ebates for myself.
So here’s how it works:
They have online and in-store retailers who offer you cash back on your purchases when you click from Ebates link. So the % can range from around 2-10% cash back. Of course this isn’t just free money while you’re browsing the internet, you have to buy something to earn, but if you already do a lot of your shopping online then why not earn a little bit back on it.
Side notes:
They can pay you through PayPal and the payment schedule is below.
Make it easy:
If you don’t want to have to go to the Ebates website to find a link for a particular retailer then just install the extension to your internet browser. This way when you’re shopping online if a retailer offers cash back it will pop up in the corner of the page to let you know! I didn’t realize how many retailers offered cash back until I installed the extension. I would have missed out on earning money back!
I’m including screenshots of my own cash back statements to show how a dollar here and there really adds up. It’s kinda like couponing. Sometimes a retailer will have a special where they’re offering 5% or 10% back for a limited period of time and if you’re purchasing something big over a $100 that can really add up quickly.
So over the past year I’ve earned $127.44. Is this going to make you a millionaire? No. But that’s $127 that I wouldn’t have if I hadn’t used Ebates.
There’s also an app so if you’re not shopping from your desktop and want to earn from your phone you can.
Refer and earn:
Ebates offers $25 for every referral so if you’ve got a girlfriend who loves to save money then refer her to Ebates from your link! When she spends $25 then you earn $25!
If this post has been helpful and you want to give Ebates a try, then I would love if you signed up through my link here! Small commissions/affiliate links are how we keep our small blogs going. Thanks for reading!
