Who else has thrown out the “no white after labor day” rule? I love a winter white outfit… or in this case white and taupe.
I was recently on the hunt for a new pair of white jeans that were slightly high waisted (because they’re more comfortable when you sit all day) and that were NOT see through. I found them! Everyone seems to love this brand and they sell out all the time. If they are sold out when you check, just add them to your favorites and check back later because they always restock. The bottom is slightly frayed which I also love. I used to balk at the idea of paying over $100 for a pair of jeans but I honestly got tired of buying cheap ones and then a few months later needing to buy new ones because they stretched out. So far so good with these! I’m 5’5 wearing a 26. Also, down at the very bottom of this post I linked two other places that have the white jeans on sale right now.
While I’m on the jean topic, let me just take a minute to brag on Nordstrom. I was hesitant about buying jeans online because they are harder to fit than tops. However, they always offer free shipping and returns so you’re not risking anything by sending a bunch to yourself to try on. So that’s what I did. I ordered about 6 pair of white and black jeans to try on in the comfort of my home. I ended up keeping the white pair I mention above and a black pair I mentioned here. Then I just put all the ones that didn’t work back in the box and shipped them off! So easy.
This cute cable knit sweater is the perfect length and perfect amount of warmth! (At the time of writing this post it’s also on sale) It’s not tunic length by any means but it’s a little bit longer than most of my sweaters which just makes it more comfortable to me. I’m 5’5 wearing a small here.
My tote is the perfect little size! It’s the Tory Burch Kira. I love a small purse that still fits everything I need in it. It has 3 different “compartments” which makes it easy to sort out and find things! It has short straps that you can pick it up by but I love the long shoulder strap. It also comes in black which I think is really pretty.
My boots are Steve Madden from several years ago and I can’t find them anywhere online to link them. Don’t hate me. Below I have linked A LOT of tan/toffee boots that are similar to mine. They show up black below but there are other color options available when you click on them.
My plaid blanket scarf is under $20 whoop whoop and it’s oversized! You can wear it several different ways. It’s available here and here.
Same sunglasses in different color here. Similar here.
Happy Thanksgiving week!
